Forum: forums Subject: Enhancement request: add $page parameter to advancedsearch.php

It would be useful if the advancedsearch.php script let you pass in the page you wanted to view. Right now, you can specify how many results to return, but not what page to show.

$ diff advancedsearch.php.orig advancedsearch.php
69c69,70
< join($this->fl, ','));
---
> join($this->fl, ','),
> $_REQUEST['page']);

should be all it takes. Thanks!

I guess you'd want to add it to the passthru array in urlSE, too.

Would it be possible to add a start parameter or use the page parameter for JSON output as well?
I can get 40.000 records at once but that isn't that user friendly since I don't know the number of results within my first request.
